N.E.C. STYLE: Backstage @ Marlon Gobel Spring 2012

Backstage @ Marlon Gobel Spring 2012

Marlon has been called the new kid on the block of fashion week but he has quickly become my favorite male designer.

I first worked with Marlon team on his Spring 2012 Collection called "Super-Mart"
The clothes had grape, lemons, orange, & cherry prints. If the clothes didn't have fruit prints, they were supper saturated colors.  It was like walking into a supermarket and seeing all the colors of the produce.  Not to mention the models walked out of isle of colorful, coordinated potato chips.  The material of the clothing had a "paper or plastic" look complete with "packing boys" visors.
Overall it was extremely playful and colorful line and I loved it. It was cool to work with his team and loved every moment of it.  Its nice to see someone not take menswear so serious and inject fun.   If you want to see more of the clothing, check out the video and see clips of backstage prep.  Also look out for ME working my magic!!!
